Dancers Responding to AIDS, a program of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. This organization is very important to us and our community.

1) DRA assists the AIDS Initiative, the Women’s Health Initiative and the Actors’ Work Program of The Actors’ Fund of America- providing services to all performing artists nationwide

2) DRA also provides each year, almost $3 million in grants to over 500 AIDS and family service organizations across the country and in our area….

3) That’s hundreds of food banks, emergency assistance programs and social service providers to men, women and children. As well as most recently grants in total of $415,000 towards relief services toward Hurricane Katrina.

4) Also DRA gives dancers access to the Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic, job training, and housing & financial assistance.
